Weather on this Sunday was too good to miss the opportunity to have a little walk. And I’ve decided to climb the so-called Fichteturm for a breathtaking view over Dresden. First picture is a total view at the Georg-Schumann-Bau, a building that is part of the university of Dresden. As you may still know from a previous post: during WW II it was a prison.
Just a quick look into a streets covered with Autumn colours.

Still on my way onto the top of the Fichteturm having a little break to take this picture through a window of the tower. In total it’s 150 steps. Not too high though.

Unfortunately I don’t have a panorama option on my camera so I had to take nine several pictures and put them together seperately afterwards. It doesn’t look too great but I think you have an impression of the great view there is up there.

Ich finde ja, viele Stäfte sehen von oben gleich aus. Unmengen an roten Dächern und (scheinbar) weißen Häusern lol Das hätte jetzt auch gut und gerne von unserer Burg aus fotografiert worden sein können. Gut, wir haben keine Moschee (noch nicht) und die ein oder ander Kirchturmspitze mehr. Aber so vom Gesamteindruck unterscheiden sich viele mittelgroße Städte erstmal von dieser Höhe aus wenig, ist immer mein Eindruck.

Naja, die Yenidze ist ja keine Moschee, sieht nur so aus, weil deren Erbauer ein Faible für das Morgenland hatte. War ursprünglich eine Zigarettenfabrik — hatte ich irgendwo auch schon mal erwähnt. Aber das mit der Totalen, die von vielen Städten fast gleich aussieht, stimmt wohl. Da machen es dann eben die Details und das genauere Anschauen aus.

Ja, von der Yenidze hast du berichtet. Konnte ja aber von oben nicht sehen, daß sie das ist.
und ja, die Details machen es aus oder einfach der ebenerdige Blick. Ist mir nur mal wieder aufgefallen, das mit der Ähnlichkeit.
