The inaugurate Pay-Per-View of Fastlane is two weeks away and Dean Ambrose vs Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental title is strongly in line for that. But as of right now, Wade Barrett has no intention of granting Dean Ambrose’s demand. Until he actually does, Dean Ambrose is following William Regal’s example of humiliating Curtis Axel.
Curtis Axel’s new gimmick: beaten up by Dean Ambrose for whining about the Royal Rumble
These Gifs you see here, squeezing in this very text, were from the little backstage snippet prior to the “match” Dean Ambrose actually had to fight against Curtis Axel later on. After he “eliminated” the man on Monday, he probably was entitled for a match on Thursday. But before that actually happened, Curtis Axel once again whined about the Royal Rumble match and that he was entitled to something much bigger than just a tiny mid-card match against Dean Ambrose.
But also Dean Ambrose could think of something better than blowing off the guy, who was made into a joke by William Regal on NXT, within just 2:44 minutes. At least, Dean Ambrose got the win with Dirty Deeds. But it was hardly a match to remember. It was just done, so Dean Ambrose got the win and then having him standing inside the ring to listen to Wade Barrett to hear the answer of his own challenge to him on Monday.
Perhaps Wade Barrett also wants to fix Dean Ambrose, but in a different way
Now, Wade Barrett appeared on the big screen, somehow got the attention of Dean Ambrose and told him what you could already read in the caption to the collage of the day. It was made like some news show, so there was also a news band running from right to left on the bottom of the picture. And this was what you were able to read there:
Around the World in Bad News:
Liverpool, England – Escaped kitten, Mr. Whiskers, never coming home; Abilene, Texas – Man throws Super Bowl party, spends hours making dip, no one shows up; Naples, Italy – Local man accepts lot in life…
Of course, Dean Ambrose wasn’t very amused about him being rejected until he was sane again. Because for his liking he’s perfectly fine the way he is. But: this is actually the great opportunity to bring back Dr. Corbit to have another session with him, so he could further examine the state of Dean Ambrose’s mind. Of course, in the end, Wade Barrett will finally give in, so both men will have their match on Fastlane. I do have some scenarios about the route towards it. But I also like to get surprised this time. Actually, it can’t be that bad because at the end of the road there will be this very match and since Dean Ambrose at the moment is a little bit too lunatic for Wade Barrett’s liking, maybe WWE slightly changes his gimmick again to a more anti-hero one, which would be great and so much more fitting for Dean Ambrose.
And for those people who really think Daniel Bryan could actually win against Roman Reigns at Fastlane: don’t be stupid. This match was only made up to make Super Reigns look strong and get over with the WWE Universe, so they won’t boo the shit out of Reigns when he headlines WrestleMania to win the WWE WHC against Brock Lesnar. Yes, the WWE really thinks when Super Reigns beats one of the fan favourites in Daniel Bryan, he could be made into a likable character. It’s actually really funny, isn’t it?
