In just two weeks Elimination Chamber will take place (for whatever reason). So there is little time to built the match card for it. Before RAW started I wasn’t very excited for this Pay-Per-View but after I’ve seen it a little more. We’re back with Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins 2.0 and hopefully this time with a different finish.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were just congratulating each other for the name of their new “movement”, Architect Of A Dream, and thanking Kane backstage. This Architect Of A Dream thingy was definitely created for the fans to mock it with Architect Of A Nightmare. I haven’t seen this so far on the internet but I’m not everywhere, so I might have missed it. And if no-one came up with it so far, then feel free to spread the word. Now Kane was just about to say that he feels like Seth Rollins might have grown up a little bit when the man just crashed in – very immature – with J&J Security. With him he also had a bottle of champagne. With it he filled the tumblers of Triple H and Steph and finally Kane’s, too. Just to say that Kane would have something to celebrate since he, Seth, saved his job.

Kane’s mood changed within a second but before he was able to reply anything, Dean Ambrose all of a sudden appeared at the scene. And this is what he had to say to Rollins:

“Hey! Congratulations, Seth. Big win last night. And it only took you like four other guys to help you do it. That’s a new record for you, right? Anyway, now it’s time we can re-access the score cards. And I checked alright. Last time we fought one-on-one… I beat you. And last night you tried as you might you couldn’t beat me. So I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do for you. In two weeks at Elimination Chamber I’m gonna grant you a rematch. Under one condition, you put that title on the line.”

So, Dean Ambrose generously granted Seth Rollins a re-match for Rollins’ title. But first Rollins and then Kane explained to him a few regulations about how this is done the right way. Since Rollins is the champ, he decides who’ll get a match. Plus he should go back to the end of the line and greet Randy Orton and Roman Reigns there. And Kane said that the champion should decide about his future and Rollins still would be the future. And then Rollins went off with J&J Security. Which left us with Kane and Dean Ambrose. This time Dean Ambrose told Kane:

“I’ve always kinda knew you were Seth’s neutered little lapdog. But seeing up close personal like this, it breaks my heart. You used to be a monster, man! What would Paul Bearer think right now if he saw you? Or your brother? Devil’s favourite demon… to glorified butler. (…) You really shouldn’t drink on a clock.”

Dean Ambrose_RAW 2015-05-18 Kane clearly wasn’t satisfied about this and advised Dean Ambrose that he should never mention his family again. But he wildly guessed that Dean Ambrose wanted some action, so he game him a match against Bray Wyatt. The most interesting part about this segment for me was the position of the camera. It was held just a little inclined, so Seth Rollins appeared taller than Dean Ambrose. I’m almost sure they did that on purpose. And for some reason I still like Kane, despite the fact that he cost Dean Ambrose two major matches now. But the man is really good at acting, and I can appreciate this.

Dean Ambrose_RAW 2015-05-18 Now the match of Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt lasted for 12:44 minutes – decent length once again, so enough time to actually have some fun inside and outside the ring. I haven’t really noticed that recently but is “Flying Lunatic” now the official name of Dean Ambrose’s suicidal dive through the ropes? It seems so. And, well, WWE likes to add catchy adjectives and to play with his nickname, so I guess we have to live with this.

Another thing I’ve noticed was this sequence of moves you can see in the Gif on the left hand side. The dropkick with your opponent standing outside on the apron, then the scissor kick from the rope next to the hanging opponent. Dean Ambrose didn’t show this for a long time. And I’m not really sure right now but it seems to be some kind of a Bray Wyatt special. Because I don’t remember another guy who had to take it. But I’m not quite sure.

All in all this was a good back and forth match. And the finish was a good one this time. There was a bit of teasing with Sister Abigail and Dirty Deeds that both men countered respectively. Then Dean Ambrose tried to hit Bray Wyatt with the lariat but Wyatt countered that as well. A bit later Dean Ambrose indeed took out Wyatt with the lariat. A little bit of teasing again, until Wyatt missed a huge jump from the top rope because Dean Ambrose had rolled out of the way. Meanwhile J&J Security had made it on ringside. And it was Jamie Noble who got Dean Ambrose’s leg when he was about to jump from the top rope. Bray Wyatt caught Dean Ambrose almost in mid-air for Sister Abigail. And then got the win. And Triple H with Steph looked on in amusement via screen while Seth Rollins was joined by the returning J&J Security on the ramp, also highly amused by the scene.

The last piece of RAW was about to close the circle of the Seth Rollins celebration fest. The whole Authority was outside in the ring. The canvas had been covered with red carpet. Triple H said he had goosebumps when he’d witnessed Seth Rollins hitting the Pedigree on Randy Orton at Payback. And then he ordered Kane to tell Seth Rollins how much he’d love him – basically. Now Kane again appeared slightly annoyed but he still played to the rules and praised Seth Rollins as the future of WWE. Plus he showed us a little vignette that he apparently had put together. The best thing of this whole piece was the cameo of William Regal. Then Jamie Noble fawned at his lowest best to praise Seth Rollins and told us all that Joey Mercury also would have got something to say. But he needed quite a while and just when he was about to say something, Dean Ambrose’s music hit.

Dean Ambrose made it inside the ring and had the following to say to the Authority and, of course, Seth Rollins:

“Sorry, I’m late to this little love fest. I was out looking for the perfect Justin Bieber album for Seth. But I came back empty. So instead what I’m gonna do for this little celebration, I’m gonna give you another opportunity for a match with me. So long as, you know, the WWE World Heavyweight championship is on the line.”

Now Seth Rollins again refused to give in but instead he was annoyed about the fact that Dean Ambrose had crashed his celebrations as “The Architect of a Dream”. So he once again told him that he was at the back of the line with Reigns and Orton. But Dean Ambrose just couldn’t let loose and now had this to reply:

“Yeah, unfortunately I’m a notorious line jumper. I want my championship match. Or else.”

Now it was Steph who was annoyed. She said that Seth Rollins would be a fighting champion, so he should be one right now. The Authority stepped back, Seth Rollins took off his belt and jacket and then went for Dean Ambrose. But the latter dodged him and attacked Rollins himself. J&J Security joined very soon but were taken out on two occasions. Triple H, Steph and Kane watched interested from inside the ring while Dean Ambrose took Seth Rollins with him outside the ring. After a little brawl, Dean Ambrose threw Seth Rollins onto the announcers table and then uncovered a pile of cinder blocks. Nice from WWE to finally acknowledge this little piece of history. Now Seth Rollins was laid onto these cinder blocks like Dean Ambrose had been lying there last year. And Dean Ambrose teased with a chair that he would hit the man if he wouldn’t get his championship match. So Steph finally gave in and granted it in case Dean Ambrose would let Rollins go. Ambrose thought about it but was about to hit Rollins anyway when Joey Mercury took the chair away from behind. So basically Joey Mercury was responsible for the match about to take place at Elimination Chamber.

The brawl now continued and Kane was involved this time to make it a 4-on-1 again. Seth Rollins finally was saved by Triple H, Kane teased a Chokeslam on Dean Ambrose; Dean Ambrose teased Dirty Deeds on Kane when Seth Rollins made it back inside the ring to beat Dean Ambrose down from behind and for a Pedigree on Dean Ambrose to end this episode of RAW.

A little honorary note belongs to Kevin Owens who challenged John Cena for a U.S. championship match at Elimination Chamber. It was his debut on RAW and he already took out John Cena to stand tall at the end of that segment. It’s quite interesting since Sami Zayn already had his match against John Cena and lost. So, it’s quite possible that Sami Zayn will cost Kevin Owens the win at Elimination Chamber for a storyline across NXT and WWE shows. This is already exciting just thinking about it.

The Dean Ambrose statement of the day
Since today a photo series was published by WWE with some wrestlers giving their statement on the end of the David Letterman Show and Dean Ambrose’s sign said that he wouldn’t own a TV, I’ve taken this very photograph as some inspiration for a new finish of every one of my reviews, the Dean Ambrose statement of the day picture. It won’t be the statement of Dean Ambrose but my very own. And I’ll try to make it as funny as possible. Or as depressing as possible. Depends on my mood and / or idea that currently swirls around in my mind. Today’s statement is this:
