Something went slightly wrong when the best part of Dean Ambrose’s outing on a Pay-Per-View is his appearance during a vignette to promote his forthcoming match. We had this for numerous times now. Try something different next time, WWE.
It’s quite remarkable how fast the tide can turn in WWE within just a couple of weeks, isn’t it? From being almost a jobber Dean Ambrose is back in the main event picture with a bang. And all of a sudden he’s the one again we see basically during the entire show. Could be a strategy by WWE to make the fans get weary of him. Could be also a sign that WWE finally noticed what they have in Dean Ambrose. I guess we’ll get a hint of which one it is on Elimination Chamber this Sunday.
Yeah, WWE does it all over again and I’m barely unable to hold back my excitement. Of course Dean Ambrose won’t win the WWE World Heavyweight championship. But he’s there to make Roman Reigns loved by the WWE Universe. And the fans will fall for both of it.
In just two weeks Elimination Chamber will take place (for whatever reason). So there is little time to built the match card for it. Before RAW started I wasn’t very excited for this Pay-Per-View but after I’ve seen it a little more. We’re back with Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins 2.0 and hopefully this time with a different finish.
And all of this wasn’t really surprising for me. Despite all my speculation during the last few reviews I was pretty sure that Seth Rollins would retain his title, The Shield wouldn’t re-unite and no-one would turn heel. Anything else would have been highly surprising and illogical for a Fatal-4-Way match. And now for a detailed report on this match plus a few thoughts on the forthcoming RAW.
WWE does it again. They tease a Dean Ambrose win at the next Pay-Per-View. And Kane acts quite strange these days. And interesting as well. At least Dean Ambrose gets some decent booking now. And I try to enjoy it as long as it lasts.
But I’m not complaining about the timing this win came in the end. I’m just not sure why it was done, why Dean Ambrose was added to the main event at Payback. Because of his recent booking I’m not even able to really enjoy this because the only reason I can think of is, “to make Reigns and Rollins look strong”.
