When you don’t really care about the actual match but even more about the earlier backstage segment, something quite interesting but also different must have happened. It also mirrored that Dean Ambrose’s booking is still horrible.
Dean Ambrose fought Rusev for the first time and it was a good match with a dead audience until Bray Wyatt appeared on stage. Also in this edition of my very late review of SmackDown are some words on the bonus material of the forthcoming DVD “Destruction Of The Shield”.
Finally Dean Ambrose speaks out against Bray Wyatt. And he talks about the recent events with the infamous rocking chair. Then Rusev refuses to compete against him. And Bray Wyatt really took it hard that Dean Ambrose destroyed his chair. Consequently Dean Ambrose had to die… again.
This RAW episode was disappointing but you could have expected something like that. We were teased since Friday that Bray Wyatt would reveal a secret about Dean Ambrose but nothing happened on Monday. Both men didn’t even talk to each other which is strange because I personally had expected a reply by Dean Ambrose on the lengthy promo by Bray Wyatt on Friday. If WWE can teach you anything than it’s “don’t expect anything – you only get disappointed”.
Damien Sandow and The Miz declare love for each other +++ Cesaro loses another title ma… oh, ffs, stop it +++ Using the Yes! Lock was instantly punished +++ And now send The Ascension, please! +++ Cena needs to learn to stay down after being hit for like fifty times by a so-called ‘finisher’ +++ I nearly died laughing +++ And I like Rusev even more +++ Surprise, surprise +++ Homages and reminiscences but still very original stuff
After SummerSlam this is probably my most anticipated Pay-Per-View this year because of Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins in Hell In A Cell. For me there is just one main event even if WWE tries hard to sell this so-called double main event. According to a poll on the WWE site itself three out of four fans are more exited for this very match. And really: it’s not surprising because we have seen this other match a hundred times already. So, I’m trying to do a prediction post once again. But beware: I’m not really good at predictions.
The Undisputed Future of the WWE has trouble with his Authority brother +++ The Miz is the biggest fanboy of Damien Sandow +++ Randy Orton really RKOs everything +++ Dean Ambrose promotes Kane’s movie +++ Apparently Seth Rollins thinks that being smart will win over being crazy in Hell In A Cell +++ Hell is evolving
